GM’s Super Bowl commercial, where’s Tesla’s?

Tesla will never need bloated lame media advertising - especially ads having no substance, no specs, no cost-of-ownership benefits, no 'anything' really but lame celebrity skits. Hard to believe the OEMs would pay for the likes of such adverts, as they simply are designed to conjure the emotions of the most uninformed sheep who they hope will not do their research. Tesla vehicles sell themselves without advertising, and that saved money goes into the vehicle which is what makes their vehicles better while also increasing margins.

Tesla cannot currently meet the demand for their product. They have never run ads and until their supply can exceed demand, they really don't need it. With that said though, many people are still not aware of Tesla BECAUSE they have never seen any ads. There is definitely untapped market potential as a result.

There really is no 'Untapped Market Potential' for Tesla, as Demand is far ahead of any other vehicle brand on this planet. Most people actually Do Know about Tesla unless they are living under a rock and have no internet; even a lot of kids know about Tesla and can't wait to see one. The Tesla ownership experience and testimonials widely available on the internet - are why demand is 'through the roof' ahead of all others, and why Tesla will never need expensive and counterproductive media advertising.

Entertaining, light on substance. Nostalgia.
A lot experts suggest Tesla gets free exposure when other companies advertise EVs. It is damned near impossible to think about EVs without thinking about Tesla. Just imagine you are a car buyer and you see an advert from GM about how EVs are saving the planet and you think “Hey… I should get one of these crazy EVs!” Then a little time with the search engine later you end up on Tesla’s site.

Because GM doesn’t have any EVs for sale right now other than their stupid Hummer.

Tesla is the most search name on Google, with the highest Customer satisfaction & most T emblem recognition by the public of all the Auto Industry!

And yet in a survey of people, Tesla has lower brand recognition than other major automakers.

There would therefore be untapped demand - we're all here because we're unmet demand, too. And we get new members every week who hadn't known before.

The cringeworthy Silverado advert ends with the woman plugging her Silverado into a Level 2 charger which would probably take about 8 hours to top off that monster battery pack.
