It has a very standard/boxy look. I wo der what the cargo capacity is. I've seen a lot about the R1T but not much about the R1S.

I think the Rivian makes a lot more sense as an SUV. They will sell a ton of these.

I agree, there is a much larger market/appeal for SUV's in this price range, than a mid-sized pick-up truck.

All I can hope is they will exponentially improve the range and charging experience over the R1T. Kyle from Out of Spec had an educational drive in an R1T from Phx to Ft. Collins.

I can't imagine the SUV demographic would be happy with some of the struggles and time waiting as it is now. Probably the vast majority of trips are going to be local and well within range, but long trips seem to be requiring patience.

No pass-through for the camp kitchen? Hmm... I wonder what other Rivian features are not on the R1S but can be seen on the R1T.

For that matter, what features are on the R1S that are not on the R1T? Other than the enclosed back end of course.
