Solid state batteries, just like cold fusion…. It’ll be ready in about 3-5 years, every year for the past 15 years or so. In 10 years it’ll still be almost ready for volume manufacturing.
More range is nice.
I don't even care about volume-manufacturing at this point. I want a box full of solid-state cells to build a lightweight fire-resistant 25kWh battery pack for an "off-road application".
