2028 Ram Dakota SRT will be most powerful midsize pickup (at least 470 HP)!

I'm hoping that it's looks are a lot closer to the render, also.

It's pretty much confirmed now that they're working on a smaller displacement DOHC Hemi V-8 and it sounds like it'll make it's way into a lot of the newer stuff coming mid to late 2027 ('28 M.Y stuff).

I'm keeping an eye on the Scrambler, since it's going to share some drivetrain options (engine and maybe trans & transfer case) with the Dakota and Gladiator, because it looks like they intend to launch it with a V-8 to start with. It could possibly mean the new DOHC V-8 is intended for at least one of the trims when it launches.

Very excited to see how this new Dakota shakes out.

A lot of these AI renderings are good looking trucks.

It better offer a V8, 5.7L , 6.4L preferred even that rumored new DOHC might be ok.
I hate being the guineapig for an all-new motor.

If I could just pick my engine off the Mopar shelf it would be the 392 Apache preferably without MDS, or have at least some ways to shut the MDS off.

I really do hope this truck looks like this.
This AI image is really a sharp looking truck IMO.

If it looks like this with a Hemi V8 under the hood, I may have to order 2 of them. LOL
