Hi, and thank you for reading this. NOT to point any fingers but I have a 2011 ram Dakota 3.9l pickup. It was brought to my attention that a 21 volt battery was used to jump it once and I am sure something is fried. New alternator, new battery. Battery won’t charge, truck won’t run unless jumped with a car jump starter and then when it does start it dies when you disconnect the jump starter like the alternator is bad. Any ideas exactly what burnt and /or how to test whatever is suspected of burning? ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATE. THANK YOU
