There's alot of liability on the line. Figuring out how to prove that is not a simple task.

If Tesla was confident in their FSD, they'd use it in their own lots.

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying FSD is ready, I'm just saying that when it is, and it is proven to the satisfaction of politicians, the regulations can change much quicker than what is still left to do on FSD. Simply the main constraint is FSD development time, not changing regulation, "if" the regulators aren't otherwise politically motivated.

Pssst... don't bring to much attention to my "extravagant and outlandish political commentary" (sarcasm maybe? ;) ) otherwise the admin will delete my completely non-political posts again, like my ones about my recent trip to the USA. True story.

The real joke is that it's all just people with poor or misled motivations hungry for a power trip.
