Hello everyone!

2027 Ram Dakota Pickup We Are MARS. We make adventure gear for the adventurous Cybertruck owners. 3X2_003

Welcome to Mars Adventure Gear! We are a team of automotive engineers and Cybertruck enthusiasts in California who see immense potential in the Cybertruck. We've designed and engineered a series of products, including a roof rack system, crossbars, side racks, and more exciting products coming soon.

Our goal is to seamlessly integrate these accessories with the futuristic look of your Cybertruck, making them feel like they were meant to be installed and shipped together. Our prototypes have been rigorously tested on long road trips, and we are confident you will appreciate the design and quality when you receive yours. Preorders for our first products are now live, with estimated shipping by June 30, 2024.

Will the crossbars be easily removable and can fit in any of the positions on the truck?
Very interested!
Great question! We actually experimented the adjustable crossbar design and decided to vote it off due to a couple of reasons: the truck is pretty wide makes the cantilever arm long when you have a high load at the center point. To design a adjustable mechanism for the crossbar means a trade off between a really beefy structure for stiffness or you will potentially have a lot of deflection which can damage the glass underneath it. The current design is very low profile (benefits hugely on aero) which is made possible by how stiff the structure is everywhere across the bar. Such adjustable mechanism can also get stuck easily when there's a lot of sand/dirt while off-roading.

Overall we want to keep the design simple & robust - which aligns with adventurous spirit of the brand. The last thing you want when you're out in the wild is a broken crossbar.

With all that being said - we made the crossbar super easy to remove (only 2 bolts) and will be selling the replacement bar itself at BOM cost, in case owners want to have different combinations on their truck. Stay tuned!

wow this looks sick!! Are you guys planning on coming out with a full rack?
Yes! The rear rack prototype is here - we're testing it internally to make sure it solves for stuffiness and aero.

Great answer thank you!

My main rack use case is an 18 ft long surf ski. Ideally I would have independent cross bars which would fit at the very top and very rear of the truck. It looks like your current design is either a over window two bar or over truck bed two bar choice?

Any plans for light metal or fiberglass camper shell extending to the glass top (to push it further) tall and flare up at the back?

Should help in aerodynamics while pulling an RV.

Thanks for the feedbacks - actually, we could sell them as any combination you want. You can always email us at [email protected] after placing the order and we can ship out crossbar 1 & 4 for you.

Yep! We're experimenting with prototypes right now. Definitely using light metal at the moment for structural stiffness (we also like how metal compliments the CT exterior well).

Same question for me. Different situations call for different get up. Too bad they went with that decision.
