TESBROS - DIY Wrap Kits for Teslas & Cybertruck

We're excited to be a part of the CTOC!

I first purchased a Tesla Model 3 in 2018 and started a blog to add value to the community when there wasn't as much content back then. Then it turned into YouTube, then an online store. 5 years later, we've established a business helping Tesla owners customize, protect, and maintain with our DIY kits.

We're here in this community to add value like we've always have, so if you have any questions about vinyl wrapping, PPF, ceramic coating, cleaning, etc., we're here to help! So far we've wrapped 5 Cybertrucks and many more scheduled.

Welcome! Would you say satin carmine red is like @denniscw genjuitsu red? That's CT goals

Maybe in color but the genjutsu red from Tinybot is a satin chrome. So from Avery Dennison, the red chrome is closer but will be shinier than the satin chrome.

I'm just wondering it it is possible to put a wrap on the roof glass?
and would it be possible to place a wrap just from the break (bend) in the body panel up leaving the lower section bare?

Like a pillar delete? / Two tone situation?

everything above the body line (about 3" below the windows) yes, two-tone
Could always get the kit and use the knife tape to chop off the bottom part lol. But maybe they could do a custom order

Yes, we are working on this kit! Sometimes the shadow naturally does this so we figured we'd make a product out of it. Stay tuned! Coming in the next few weeks.

Right behind our color kit. We have been working with CTs since December and want to make sure we provide the easiest and best kit out there. A lot of videos and instructionals are in the works so that'll be out and for those who purchase will get a link. We will also be releasing a few free modules so people can see how it works.

We will be coming out with gloss, matte and colored PPF. Colored PPF is the craze right now but materials are much more expensive. The challenge for DIY-ers will be the edges. The edges are very sharp and lower surface area to adhere to. But this is currently very close to release. I can keep you guys updated here.

Could call it an ambre like with two toned hair, but I'm not sure if that is a fade.

Tesbros is a great channel, I've watched many of their videos. Be honest, how good are these kits when applied as a diy? Because when you pay a shop to do it it costs more, but there can be a ten year or even a limited lifetime warranty. When you do it yourself is their serious peeling or lifting after a year? Some of the professional guys train for years just to get the right ratios for soap and slip solution and they know how to adjust the solution for different temps, and humidity levels and for their elevation. I've never seen a chart that shows the perfect ratio based on temp, humidity, and elevation.

Thanks, Kbolt! I appreciate the kudos. This is a vinyl install which means it's a DRY install which is definitely easier IMO than the wet install. The CT is the first vehicle that I think the DIY makes sense for the whole vehicle. If you look at other models like Model 3, there's a lot more compound curves that require more complex stretching which = to needing more experience. The panels on the CT are flat and don't require stretch so I think the average DIY-er will be able to learn and understand the mechanics easier.

That being said, this is still all very new and we are learning as we go. So as we continue to get more feedback (We've been shipping our kits now), we'll adjust and continue to improve the product.

As far as the warranty, it should hold pretty well. The vinyl is rated for 5 years, but if there are issues, we have an in-house support team that can help you get new pieces or help you through the issues. We launched the DIY PPF Kits for Model 3, Y and S and we purposefully did that because I felt like PPF was harder. After helping thousands of owners protect their Tesla, we're excited to bring it to the color market.

Let me know if you have any other questions! We're here to help and add value to the community.

Hi Ji
Can you say what is in the prep kit for the CT? I didn’t see it on your site. Will it include everything like clay bar etc and will that process have detailed instruction videos? Thanks!
