    Dakota shares Gladiator platform or smaller Ram 1500 platform?

    The natural rumors have been that the Dakota will be built directly on the Gladiator platform but I've also read in the past that it might be built on scaled down Ram 1500 platform. Which platform you guys think they'll go with?

    FCA Trademarks DAKOTA!

    Great news finally. With the Gladiator as more of a niche truck they need a bigger volume seller to take on Tacoma. The Dakota can ride on the coattails of the recent record Ram sales and make an immediate splash in the midsize market. (y)
